Our Foodie tour focuses on street food; dishes that most people outside of Vietnam have never had a chance to experience…..so no Pho, Banh Xeo, or Banh Mi! We also won’t make you to eat bugs or anything too weird…unless it’s a request.  :) The Foodie is not just a gastronomic tour, but a great way to see parts of the city that the majority of tourists don’t get to see!

In the morning, our motorbike rider will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and leave Ho Chi Minh City for Can Duoc Market – a stunning rural market (40 km). The scene changes from bustling streets with buildings and noise to peaceful rice paddles with cottages and small houses on the way – in the open air

Then take a rural route to My Loi Ferry. Some stops en route to see farmers working on paddy fields. Cross Vam Co river by the ferry then ride to Go Cong then Tan Hoa (25km). Have some stops en-route to visit an incense workshop, through some remote villages and reach Tan Thanh beach for seafood lunch. Then continue riding from this Mekong Delta beach to My Tho(45km), the heart of the Mekong Delta.

Arrive in My Tho, you will take a boat trip on Mekong River to visit the Phoenix Island where local handicrafts and sweets from coconut are being produced. Enjoy fresh seasonal fruits and traditional live music and songs performance. Take a short ride to a typical local house to taste some homemade honey-tea. You will take a small sampan boats through the small canals and side arms of the river to observe the daily life along the river banks with a stop and short leisurely walk at the Turtle Island. Ride through Rach Mieu suspension-bridge for a breath-taking view of the Upper Mekong and transfer to Ho Chi Minh City (70 km). The trip ends at your hotel.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Bangkok – Sisophon (Lunch, Dinner)  , 45km

Our guide contact with you a day before for prepare the bikes. Then we start today for Aranyaprathet. After crossing border to Cambodia, we will ride in the afternoon 45 km to Sisophon for overnight.

Day 2: Sisophon to Siem Reap (Breakfast, lunch, dinner) 95Km

Start a longer ride today to Siemreap. Sights of rice paddies, local schools, villages, pagodas on the way. Overnight Siemreap.

Day 3: Around Siem Reap – Angkor temples circuit (Breakfast, lunch, dinner) , 30Km

Ride from Siem Reap to explore the World Heritage site – Angkor temples, following countryside trail and then paved road of small circuit. Overnight in SiemReap

Day 4: Siem Reap – Banteay Srei – Beng Mealea (Breakfast, lunch, dinner) 80 km

Morning ride 35km to Banteay Srei – the Citadel of the woman, build in year 967, laterite wall, beautiful sculpture on red sand stone. Then we keep on riding 15km on countryside road to Phnom Kulen Mountain. First stage challenging climb up hill 12km to the waterfalls, this is a nice trail on Kulen mountain, taking us to a special stream with thousands lingas in the water. Spend the night in a typical Khmer house.

Day 5: Beng Mealea – Kompong Thom (Breakfast, lunch, dinner) ,100km

Get ready for a long day. We riding from BengMealea to the main highway 6 then connecting SiemReap and Phnompenh.  Night spent at local hotel in Kompong Thom.

Day 6: Kompong Thom – Phnom Penh (Breakfast, lunch, dinner) , 90km

Put on your tough suit today. It is another long day, but we are ready for it. We ride along the national road to KompongThnor and little on higher hill to Skun. In the afternoon we keep on 75km to Phnom Penh. Last crossing Japanese bridge over the Tonlesap river to enter Phnom Penh city. Overnight in hotel in Phnom Penh

Day 7: Phnom Penh – TaKeo (Breakfast, lunch, dinner) , 80Km

This will be an easy day and relaxing your leg. Morning check out and ride along the Tonle sap river for a quick sightseeing tour on the bikes: National museum, Royal palace, Cambodia – Vietnam Monument and group photo at . Then we head down south of the city and follow highway 2 to TaKeo. O/n at local guesthouse in Takeo.

Day 8: TaKeo – Phnomden – TinhBien – ChauDoc (Breakfast, lunch, dinner) 80km

We have a flat to undulating day, with a quiet start inland on country roads for 50km through a scenic rice paddies to Phnomden border. Time to say goodbye to our Cambodia staff and get ready for custom procedures exit Cambodia / enter Vietnam at TinhBien border gate. Our Vietnamese team welcome us, then we keep on cycling 25km to ChauDoc.  Overnigh in ChauDoc.

Day 9 : ChauDoc – SaDec – VinhLong (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Up early for a boat cruise through the fish-farm village producing tons and tons of fish beneath hundreds of floating homes. Discover the ethnic Cham village with its famous Mubarak Mosque and observe local women at their traditional weaving. Driver to LongXuyen town, then we cross the local ferry and mount our bikes for ~ 60km cycling to Sadec. In the afternoon we cycle to VinhLong, ferry crossing again and ride 10km on small trail on island to an eco guesthouse by the mekong river. Overnight in local house.

 Day 10 : VinhLong – CaiBe – MyTho – SaiGon. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Up early morning for a short ride 10km around the island, see the local markets on island. Boarding on boat for cruise over the mekong river and in natural waterways to CaiBe, visit this floating market. Start cycling on countryside road , through immense rice fields and numerous rural riverside villages to MyTho, and transfer to HCM city / Saigon. Hotel check in. Farewell dinner. End of first route

 Day 11: SaiGon – CatTien National Park. (Lunch, dinner)

07:30 Departure from your hotel. It takes us about 2 hours to VinhCuu area where we mount on our bike for cycling along the river and on to the buffer zone area of Cat Tien national park. Some dirt road, muddy before the ferry crossing to main hw. Lunch break in DinhQuan. In the afternoon, we keep on cycling, crossing DongNai river to headquarter of the park. Room check in.
We begin an 8-km hike along the nature trail where we will see many gigantic trees before returning to the administration building. What kind of trees on this trail ? There are Lagerstroemia Ovalfolia (BangLang), Tetrameles nudiflora (Tung), Cycas rumphii (Thien Tue), Ancistrolandus tectorius (Trung quan), Afzelia cyclocarpa (Go).
20:00 A jeep transport us to the TaLai buffer zone for a night site where we may spot treeshrews, civets, mouse deer, wild boars, and pygmy loris. We will return to our rooms for the night.

Day 12: Crocodile Lake – Ficus Benjamina route (CaySi) – DakLua – Madagui (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

07.00 Start cycling nine km through forest to a junction where we hike five km to Crocodile Lake Station. Following a short rest stop at the lake’s watch tower, we hike back five km to the main trail in the park and mount on our bike for cycling seven km through forest to Ficus tree area. From here we start trekking 2km to this interesting eco-system of semi-evergreen forest and wetland-flooded-evergreen forest: the Ficus benjamina group. Located in an area of 3 ha, the highest level belong to family of Moraceae (Dau tam) such as: F. benjamina, F racemora, Flacourtiaceae, Hychaearpus etc..
The trek path has a lot of tuff rocks – product of vocalnic craters million years ago. We also see huge trees of Lagerstromenia ovalfolia and several kind of birds. Picnic lunch break.
Then we cycle ~20km to the ferry, crossing DongNai river and keep on 34km to highway 20. Last climb up DeoChuoi pass to Madagui reserve for overnight. Overnight at Madagui eco guesthouse (A/c room with 6 beds, share wc).

Day 13: Madagui – TanhLinh – PhanThiet – MuiNe (Breakfast, lunch)

08:00 Start cycling outside Madagui for 9km on hw 20, then we turn off road, then gradually down mt pass through farms of K’ho and Muong hill tribe. We keep on to TanhLinh where our van pick up and transfer us to HamTan for lunch. In the afternoon we will cycle 48km along beautiful KheGa beach to Muine. Some hills on the way, but you can enjoy the landscape while climbing. Total cycling distance today about 100km. Our tour ends in MuiNe.

Day 14: Am free time relaxing on Mui Ne Beach. Pm driving back to Saigon

Day 15: Free time until transfer to airport for departure flight.

Day 1: Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (lunch, and dinner)

Saigon.travel guide and driver will pick you up at 7h30 am at your hotel within district 1, Ho Chi Minh City and drive 1 and a half up to 2 hours through rice fields and farm land to Mekong Delta of My Tho pier. On arrival in My Tho, you will take a boat ride a along the Mighty Mekong River to see daily life of locals along the River as well as on these islands of Dragon, Turtle, and Phoenix. You will have a chance to visit local activities of fish-breading floating houses, see process of making coconut candy from start to finish, and sample different types of hot coconut candies with flavour of chocolate, panda leave, peanut, and plain ones. You will then boat to Ben Tre island to learn how locals keep bee for honey, and have break with honey tea. 

At noon, you will have lunch break with local specialties, and laze on hammock under the shady trees. After lunch break, you will have a rowing boat ride along the water palm tree to experience real local life along the waterways, and pay a visit to Mr Ba for local music performance while have fruits. Boat back to the pier, and have a vehicle drive to Can Tho for 2 hours. You will check in into the hotel in Can Tho City center, have dinner and walk along Ninh Kieu wharf to experience Can Tho at night, visit Can Tho night market. Stay the night in Can Tho.

Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Ha Noi (breakfast, and lunch)

After breakfast, you will take a boat ride along The Mighty Mekong River up to the Cai Rang floating market to experience real River Life of locals in the region to observe the locals buying, selling, bargaining and exchanging goods among their boats. Why not practice your bargaining skills here! Experience the tranquility of life in rural areas, the Monkey bridge (if tide permit) and rice noodle making. Boat back to hotel, check out, free at your leisure until transfer to the airport for flying to Ha Noi.

Saigon.travel team in Ha Noi will pick you up on arrival and transfer to the hotel in Ha Noi. Check in and stay overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 3: Hanoi – overnight Halong bay cruise (Breakfast, Lunch, dinner)

Am:   We pick you up from your hotel at around 8h15 for 3.5 hour driving North East; the bus ride will take you over the Red River and through the country side of our second biggest delta to reach Halong Bay.

You would be first dropped off at Tuan Chau International Marina – harbor of Halong’s biggest island. From which you will be tendered to our Halong Phoenix Cruiser, welcome drinks would be immediately served for your refreshment while we hand over your cabin’s key. 

Pm:    When you are putting all of your stuffs into your cabin, our boat starts gliding out to the centre of the World Heritage Site. Your lunch, at the boat’s restaurant, is would be served with fresh local seafood, but vegetable menu is always available at your request.

          From the marina area, our cruiser passes by Dog Head and Swan Islands, Ba Hang Floating villages (with floating houses), Incense Burner then Thumb Islands before reaching Surprising (Sung Sot) Cave.

          At around 15h00, our boat will anchored for a short tender ride from the middle of the bay to an island for your visit to famous Sung Sot Cave. The cave visiting will take you about 1 hour (walking inside the limestone cave), then we tender you to visit and swim on Titop Island, which is not far from the cave. Here you can still challenge yourself by climbing up to the top, for a panoramic view, before heading back to swim on its sandy beach.

As the sun sets over the bay, we head back to our cruise and relax. Coffee, tea and fruits will be available on the sundeck or you can order your favorite drink from our bar.

Halong Phoenix Cruiser keeps cruising to Coconut anchorage area, which is away from the crowded centre – where most other boats stay, for our overnight escape.

Dinner would be served with typically local seafood, you are then free to either drink or experience squid fishing before heading to your bed.

 Day 4: Halong bay cruise – Ha Noi – Sapa (breakfast, lunch)

 Am:   You would love to rise a bit early for a breath taking and practicing Tai Chi on sundeck, the stunning vista of the serene bay is always best experience of staying overnight on boat. We serve you buffet breakfast from 7h30, then we have time to gear up for one hour kayaking around Luom Bo area (provincial border between Quang Ninh province and Cat Ba National Park of Hai Phong).

     Our guide will show you some basic safety guidelines and techniques to paddle before helping you to sit on our brand new sit-on-top kayaks. Kayaking area is so quite that you will feel like the bay is remaining untouched, you will see neither other boat nor other kayakers beyond your group and our Phoenix Cruiser.

On the cruising way back, we cruise on a different way so that you can see new areas and viewing islands from a different side. At around 10h00, we arrange a cooking demonstration on boat to show you how to make real Vietnamese spring rolls, just before lunch time: you will learn recipes and techniques that go into the most popular dish of the Vietnamese food.

Lunch would be served on boat when you are close to the harbor. You say goodbye to Halong Phoenix Cruiser at around 12h00, we tender you back to the harbor.

Pm:    Our bus is already waiting for you at the marina to take you back to Hanoi, we leave Halong Bay and Tuan Chau Island around 12h30.

Trip ends at your hotel around 16h30.

Tip:    For your own convenience during 2 day trip, please kindly leave your big suitcases at your hotel. Your receptionist would be delighted to keep your stuffs in their storage until you come back next day.

 After dinner on your account, we will drive you to the railway station to transfer to Sapa. Stay overnight on train.

Day 5: Lao Cai railway station – Sapa – Cat Cat. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

You will arrive at the Lao Cai Station between 5-7:30 AM. There you will meet our bus guide and transfer to Sapa town. After having breakfast and a shower, you will start the half-day walk to Cat Cat village occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. You will experience the tribal way of life while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat. After the walk, you will be back to the Hotel at around noon to check-in and be on time for lunch (11AM-2PM) in the hotel restaurant. For the rest of the afternoon, you will be free to explore Sapa town on your own. Dinner will be in the hotel restaurant from 4-8 PM. You will spend the night in the Hotel.

Day 6: Sapa – Lao Cai/Ta Van (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

After having breakfast and a shower, you will check out of your room at the hotel and leave your luggage in the luggage storage room to prepare for your trek. You will only need to bring a change of clothing, trekking gear and toiletries for your stay at the village homestay. At around 9 AM you will begin your 10 km trek on small trails down the Muong Hoa Valley towards the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai. The Muong Hoa Valley contains some of the most beautiful views of rice paddy fields in Asia. After having lunch along the Muong Hoa river in Lao Chai, you will continue along the bottom of the valley to get to the Dzay tribe village of Ta Van to experience their way of life while staying in a local family’s cottage.

Day 7: Ta Van – Dzang Ta Chai – Sapa — Lao Cai (Breakfast, lunch)
After having breakfast in the village home stay, you will begin your trek to Dzang Ta Chai of the Red Dzao tribe. You can experience the difference between the way of life of the different tribes people. You will have lunch in the village before you continue your trek through the amazing scenery and to the beautiful waterfall. At around 1PM you will be picked up from the main road to take a ride back to the Hotel in Sapa. Along the way you may stop to take photos of the fabulous valley en-route to Sapa. When you arrive in Sapa, you will have enough time to freshen up with a shower and have dinner in the Restaurant before catching the bus back to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi. Overnight stay on train.

Day 8:  Hanoi Arrival – Perfume pagoda (lunch)
You will arrive in Hanoi between 5-6:30 AM at the Tran Quy Cap train station.

07h30: pick up from your hotel, depart 2-hour road trip (75 km). You will go along the beautiful road which has one side of a river and one side of the green field.

09h00: arrive the Yen stream, get on a small boat, glide along scenic waterway to come to visit Den Trinh Ngu Nhac temple. After that, continue a boat trip to the mountain path, trek up mountain to come to visit Huong Tich Main cave – the huge cave on the mountain and visit a complex of pagodas & temples.

12h00: have lunch in the restaurant.

PM: After lunch, downhill, visit Thien Tru pagoda which has a special architectures of 15th century.

14h00: boat trip back Duc wharf. Bus ride back to Hanoi,

18h00: Drop you at your hotel, end your day trip.

Day 9: Hanoi – Da Nang (Breakfast, lunch)

After having breakfast at hotel, you will be picked up and transferred to Ha Noi airport for flight at 6h30 am. On arrival in Da Nang, tour guide and driver will pick you up and drive to Hue with stop en-route for photos. Arrive Hue, check in. In the afternoon, you will have half day city tour. Stay overnight in Hue.

Day 10: Hue – Hoi An (Breakfast, lunch)

After having breakfast at hotel, tour guide and driver will pick you up and drive to Hoi An through the Hai Van Pass with stop for photos at picturesque landscape at Lang Co beach, and Hai Van pass. If time permit, you may visit Cham museum at Da Nang. We will then go for Hoi An. Check in on arrival

Day 11: Hoi An – Saigon (Breakfast)

Have breakfast at hotel. Free at your leisure. 1 pm car will pick you up and drive to Da Nang airport for flight to Saigon at 5pm. On arrival in Saigon. End services.

Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Nha Trang at 9 am, and drive about 1 hour to the starting point. You will raft downstream about 8 km pass through the biggest rapids at level 2, and 3. Have a break and visit a fruit garden, enjoy tropical fruits.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Cai Be (Lunch, and dinner)

Vietnam motorbike tours to Mekong Delta depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 7h30 am, you will ride through Tan An town, peaceful villages, and peaceful rice paddles.
Have lunch  break in My Tho, in a local restaurant. You will Keep riding to Cai Be along the sides of Tien River to enjoy the tranquil rice fields, orchards, water buffaloes, and ducks swimming in the same rivers.
You will arrive at Cai Be in the late afternoon, and go on a motorboat ride crossing The River to the Vietnamese Traditional Ancient House, which is one of the nicest and oldest in the Southern Vietnam remained intact over hundred years old and after so many turbulent occurrences in the war.
You will enjoy a welcome dinner prepared by the friendly local host with warmness to your energy back recovered. Stay overnight in The Home-stay in Cai Be.

We will have early breakfast, and star our Vietnam motorbike tours to Mekong Delta ride along on the island. It is a great chance for you to experience real daily life of locals such as meet farmers, villagers. You also go on a boat ride to visit Cai Be floating market. Disembark in Vinh Long pier in the late morning, we will ride Vinh Long through Can Tho, one of the main city in Mekong Delta Vietnam, with visit along the way. Stay overnight in Can Tho.

Day 3:  Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Saigon (breakfast, and lunch)

We will start our Vietnam Motorbike Tour to Mekong Delta at 6.30 am with ride to Ninh Kieu pier for a boat trip to Cai Rang floating market, one of the busiest market in Mekong Delta region. We access Cai Rang floating market in 30 minutes ride to witness the Waterways life happening on the river, have walk on a quiet country path to take in the magnificent scenery and get close to the locals as they go about their daily routine. Back to Hotel for breakfast. Then we will have short visit to Can Tho central market and Binh Thuy ancient house, The House design is a combination of Vietnam and France with interesting involved stories but also a garden with flowers and fruits, including a wide range of orchids and a record cactus.
Our last part of this Vietnam Motorcycle tours to Mekong Delta ends with riding return to Saigon along the 1A national road with break for lunch en-route. You will arrive in Saigon at an estimated time of arrival at 5h30 pm. End services at your hotel.

Trip itinerary

our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel at 07:30 am, and leave Ha Noi for Perfume pagoda, taking 2-hour road trip (75 km). You will go on a boat ride along the river with the beautiful rice fields.

09h00: arrive the Yen stream, get on a small boat, glide along scenic waterway to come to visit Den Trinh Ngu Nhac temple. After that, continue a boat trip to the mountain path, trek up mountain to come to visit Huong Tich Main cave – the huge cave on the mountain and visit a complex of pagodas & temples.

12h00: have lunch in the restaurant.

PM: After lunch, downhill, visit Thien Tru pagoda which has a special architectures of 15th century.

14h00: boat trip back Duc wharf. Bus ride back to Hanoi,

18h00: Drop you at your hotel, the tour ends.
