Price: 650USDThe 6 days Cycling Tour Vietnam Dalat – Hoi An takes you by bike from the central highlands hill station of Dalat to Hoi An – the World Heritage site through the legendary Ho Chi Minh trail. This unique Vietnam cycling adventure tours is a fantastic way to see the country on the 2-wheels of bike in an ideal climate for biking. Travellers can choose to start the journey from Hoi An for the same trip itinerary instead of Dalat.
Day 1: Vietnam tours of Dalat – Lak Lake (lunch included)
You will be pick up at your hotel and begin Vietnam adventure tours with biking right from the hotel and head southwest of Dalat. About 15 minutes to get out of the city and have your legs warmed up, we will approach the backroads through vegetable farms and coffee plantations with a fantastic 12 km downhill to the Tanung village, and visit the Elephant waterfalls, silk throwing factory nearby. You will then get into more rolling hills, some great downhills through gorgeous tropical rain forest, farms and tribal villages along the way. Here you may have a couple vehicle transfer sections in between before ending up in Lak Lake considered as a nice and tranquil spot in the Central highlands. An estimated length of ride 90 or more up to your choice.
Day 2 Vietnam tours of Lake lake – Buon Ma Thuot (breakfast, and lunch included)
We set off the ride after breakfast and cycle along the lake to Jun village of the Ede ethnic tribe. There are some optional activities here that you can do such as elephant riding or a canoe ride on the lake. Your guide will give you advice and help you to arrange it. After having some time at the village we get back on the bike and head towards Buon Ma Thuot. You still have a few hours left in the afternoon for a rest from the bikes, have a walk to explore the city or take an optional bus trip to the famous Draysap waterfalls in the highlands, an estimated length of ride 50km.
Day 3 Vietnam tours of Buon Ma Thuot – Pleiku (breakfast, lunch included)
Today, you will commence an early start by biking right from the hotel. Around 15 minutes, we turn off the main Road 14 and bike along backroads through rural villages where you can experience the real countryside of the Vietnam Central highlands with coffee and rubber plantations. We will then join back into The Road 14 at the Buon Ho town where we finish the today ride. Have a picnic lunch at a local café, we will transfer about 2 hours to Pleiku, the major market town of the central highlands that inhabited by many mountain tribes with an estimated length of ride 60 km.
Day 4 Vietnam tours of Pleiku – Kontum (breakfast, lunch included)
Today is an easy ride to Kontum with a stop at The Sea Lake, a famous attraction in the highlands out of Pleiku. The ride rolls up and down through small towns and forests till we hit a nice quiet town located by the Dakla river. The rest of the afternoon is to explore some famous sights of Kontum, where mainly inhabited by the ethnic tribe of Banah. An estimated length of ride 45km.
Day 5 Vietnam tours of Kontum – Quang Ngai (breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)
An early vehilce drive from Kontum and then bike from the peak of the central highlands down to the coast. The ride today is considered as one of our best rides ever of this trip that going through remote tribal villages, timeless forests with magnificent scenery and great downhills en-route. Take our transfer, we arrive at the small town of Quang Ngai in the late afternoon. An estimated length of ride 80km.
Day 6 Vietnam tours of Quang Ngai – Hoi An (breakfast, and lunch included)
We, leave Quang Ngai for My Lai, bike to the sobering war site of My Lai, scene of the infamous massacre, and eerie experience. We will visit the site and museum, keep riding along backroads through small local villages to Highway no 1 where we end our ride and have a transfer for 2.5 hours to Hoian. An estimated length of ride 40 km.

Terrain and route: surfaces are nearly all good tarmac. The route is fairly flat with uphill climbs sometimes. Vietnam can be hot and humid, but rests and water are on hand. You should be comfortable riding in traffic on occasions. This is a busy trip but anyone not wanting to cycle all day can use the support vehicle.
