Price: Contact UsHave a short time and want to spend a day trip in Ho Chi Minh City? A half day Cu Chi tunnel excursion to visit the historic Cu Chi tunnel of Ben Dinh is a great chance for those who want to experience Vietnam’s Amazing War Secret – the unique Cu Chi tunnel.
Cu Chi tunnels excursion itinerary
It takes 1.5 hours to get to the Cu Chi tunnel-an underground network system of over 200 km which was the Cu Chi guerillas’ base during the Anti-American war. You will re-live the war experiences of the Cu Chi guerillas through; watching the documentary, exploring the tunnels, admiring how the traps and smokeless kitchen work, having tapioca, tasting rice wine, and shooting at the range.
Have dinner, cruise the Saigon river and stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 3: Mekong Delta Tour (Breakfast, Lunch)
Saigon travel guide and driver will pick you up at 8 am at your hotel Ho Chi Minh City for 1 day Mekong Delta Tour Ho Chi Minh and drive 1 and a half up to 2 hours through rice fields and farm land to Mekong Delta of My Tho pier.
On arrival in My Tho, you will take a boat ride along the Mighty Mekong River to see daily life of locals along the River as well as on these islands of Dragon, Turtle, and Phoenix.
You will have a chance to visit local activities of fish-breading floating houses, see the process of making coconut candy from start to finish, and sample different types of hot coconut candies with flavour of chocolate, panda leaves, peanut, and plain ones. You will then boat to Ben Tre island to learn how locals keep bees for honey, and have a break with honey tea.
At noon, you will have lunch break with local specialties, and laze on hammock under the shady trees.
After lunch break, you will have a rowing boat ride along the water palm tree to experience real local life along the waterways, and pay a visit to Mr Ba for local music performance while having fruits. Boat back to the pier, and have a vehicle drive returning to Ho Chi Minh City for 2 hours. You will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 5pm.
Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City Tour (Breakfast, lunch)
After having breakfast at the hotel,
Discover the pagodas, the Binh Tay market in Chinatown, the French colonial sites, the war remnant museum, the Reunification Palace, and taste a coffee at chill-out cafe…
Depart: 8:30 Return: around 16:30
You will discover downtown of the Ho Chi Minh city – Saigon with stops at the Post Office in colonial-style and the Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 and being the major seat of the Catholic religion at present in Vietnam, Thien Hau pagoda, War remnant museum, a lacquer workshop (on request). Lunch break.
In the afternoon, you will discover Jade Emperor pagoda, China town with bustling Binh Tay market, Vinh Nghiem pagoda. End your excursion
Day 5: Ho Chi Minh – Mui Ne beach (Breakfast)
Having breakfast at the hotel, Pick pick up for Mui Ne Beach.
In the morning
At 8:00 AM, we will pick you up at your hotel and depart for Mui Ne , where is about 200km from Ho Chi Minh City. On the way to go, you can get over view about the local people daily activities in different place in Viet Nam, you can also feeling a change any way between the big city and the countryside and take nice view as well about the farms. Upon arrival at Mui Ne, you will be transferred to a resort for check-in. You will take a break for lunch and have time to relax at the resort. After lunch, we will take part in the Sunset tour.
In the afternoon or you can choose to do the white sand dunes the next morning about 5 am.
At 3:30 PM, the jeep and English tour guide will pick you up from your resort/hotel to visit Mui Ne Beach. You will see the white and yellow sand waves that were created by the wind on the vast sand dunes, that nice picture is! It is more romantic time for seeing the sunset, slip on the sand.
In the middle of the white sand dune, there is Lotus Lake. Besides visiting white sand dune, you will have a chance to visit yellow sand dune. From the top of the yellow sand dune, you can see the scenery of Mui Ne and have a nice chance to discover the daily activities of the fishing farm.
After your visit to fishing farm, we will stop at the Fairy Stream, where you cannot miss in Mui Ne because of the really nice place.
In the evening
After your dinner, you are free to relax and stay the night at the resort.
Day 6: Mui Ne – White Sand Dunes – Ho Chi Minh (breakfast)
In the morning
There are no activities planned for your final day. After breakfast, you have free time for swimming or relaxing on the beach at the resort.
In the afternoon
After check out,bus pick up for Saigon. Check in the hotel on arrival about 4pm. Free at leisure
Day 7: Ho Chi Minh city – Saigon River – Airport transfer (Breakfast, lunch)
Have breakfast at hotel and take the boat travel along Saigon river to explore the beautiful view of Saigon and surounding. Lunch break, check out and free at leisure until airport transfer. End services.
