Day 1: Pick up on arrival and transfer to hotel for check in (earliest 12 noon) (Dinner)
Dinner cruise on boat on Saigon river or American Army Jeep Street Food Tour, Scooter Street Food Tour.
Day 2: Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre (Breakfast, Lunch)
Saigon Travel guide and driver will pick you up at 8:30 am at your hotel Ho Chi Minh City and drive 1 and a half up to 2 hours through rice fields and farm land to the Mekong Delta of My Tho pier.
On arrival in My Tho, you will take a boat ride along the Mighty Mekong River to see daily life of locals along the River as well as on these islands of Dragon, Turtle, and Phoenix.
You will have a chance to visit local activities of fish-breading floating houses, see the process of making coconut candy from start to finish, and sample different types of hot coconut candies with flavour of chocolate, panda leaves, peanut, and plain ones.
You will then boat to Ben Tre island to learn how locals keep bee for honey, and have a break with honey tea.
At noon, you will have lunch break with local specialties, and laze on hammock under the shady trees. After lunch break, you will have a rowing boat ride along the water palm tree to experience real local life along the waterways, and pay a visit to Mr Ba for local music performance while having fruits. Boat back to the pier, and have a vehicle drive to Can Tho via Mekong River.
The afternoon, you will cycle through the village and countryside to explore more authentic local daily surroundings. Have dinner or take part in a local cooking class with the host – about 6pm.

Day 3: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Saigon (breakfast, and lunch)
After breakfast, you will take a boat ride along The Mighty Mekong River up to the Cai Rang floating market to experience real River Life of locals in the region to observe the locals buying, selling, bargaining and exchanging goods among their boats. Why not practice your bargaining skills here! Experience the tranquility of life in rural areas, the Monkey bridge (if tide permits) and rice noodle making. Boat back to your homestay, check out, vehicle drive to Saigon, about 2,5 hours with stop for break en-route. Check in the hotel on arrival. Free at leisure. What you can do tonight: double deck bus drive to get more views and explore the city. Have dinner and stay overnight in Saigon.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B, L)
After having breakfast at the hotel, Saigon.travel guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel at 8h30 am for the city discovery.
You will discover downtown of the Ho Chi Minh city – Saigon with stops at the Post Office in colonial-style and the Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 and being the major seat of the Catholic religion at present in Vietnam, Thien Hau pagoda, War remnant museum, a lacquer workshop (on request). Have lunch break at the local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will discover Jade Emperor pagoda, China town with bustling Binh Tay market, and Vinh Nghiem pagoda.
Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L )
Saigon Travel guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive 1,5 hour to the tunnels of Cu Chi which features a living museum for the Vietnam War. The formation of the tunnels with various functions provides you the real sense of creation that exists only in Vietnam.
Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for a break and take a flight to Hanoi. Our team in Hanoi picks you up on arrival and drives to the hotel for check in.

Day 6: Hanoi – overnight Halong bay cruise (Breakfast, Lunch, dinner)
Am: We pick you up from your hotel at around 8h for 3. hour driving North East; the bus ride will take you over the Red River and through the countryside of our second biggest delta to reach Halong Bay.
You would be first dropped off at Tuan Chau International Marina – harbor of Halong’s biggest island. From which you will be tendered to our Pelican Cruise/ Royal Palace Cruise, welcome drinks would be served for your refreshment while we hand over your cabin’s key.
Pm: When you are putting all of your stuff into your cabin, our boat starts gliding out to the centre of the World Heritage Site. Your lunch, at the boat’s restaurant, would be served with fresh local seafood, but a vegetable menu is always available at your request.
From the marina area, our cruiser passes by Dog Head and Swan Islands, Ba Hang Floating villages (with floating houses), Incense Burner Then Thumb Islands before reaching Surprising (Sung Sot) Cave.
At around 15h00, our boat will anchor for a short tender ride from the middle of the bay to an island for your visit to the famous Sung Sot Cave. The cave visiting will take you about 1 hour (walking inside the limestone cave), then we tender you to visit and swim on Titop Island, which is not far from the cave. Here you can still challenge yourself by climbing up to the top, for a panoramic view, before heading back to swim on its sandy beach.
As the sun sets over the bay, we head back to our cruise and relax. Coffee, tea and fruits will be available on the sundeck or you can order your favorite drink from our bar.
Pelican Cruise/ Royal Palace Cruise keeps cruising to the Coconut anchorage area, which is away from the crowded centre – where most other boats stay, for our overnight escape.
Dinner would be served with typically local seafood; you are then free to either drink or experience squid fishing before heading to your bed.
Day 7: Halong Bay Cruise – Hanoi. (breakfast, lunch)
Am: You would love to rise a bit early for a breathtaking and practicing Tai Chi on sundeck, the stunning vista of the serene bay is always best experience of staying overnight on boat. We serve you buffet breakfast from 7h30, then we have time to gear up for one hour kayaking around Luom Bo area (provincial border between Quang Ninh province and Cat Ba National Park of Hai Phong).
Our guide will show you some basic safety guidelines and techniques to paddle before helping you to sit on our brand new sit-on-top kayaks. Kayaking area is so quiet that you will feel like the bay is remaining untouched, you will see neither other boats nor other kayakers beyond your group and our Pelican Cruise/ Royal Palace Cruise.
On the way back, we cruise in a different way so that you can see new areas and view islands from a different side. At around 10h00, we arrange a cooking demonstration on the boat to show you how to make real Vietnamese spring rolls, just before lunch time: you will learn recipes and techniques that go into the most popular dish of the Vietnamese food.
Lunch would be served on a boat when you are close to the harbor. You say goodbye to Pelican Cruise/ Royal Palace Cruise at around 12h00, we tender you back to the harbor.
Check in and stay overnight in Hanoi. Explore Hanoi at night in the Hanoi old quarter.
Day 8: Hanoi – Hanoi City Tour – Lao Cai / Sapa (B/L) – Overnight in Train
Have breakfast at your hotel, and get ready for the city discovery.
0800h: Guide will meet you at your hotel & you will depart to visit:
Ho Chi Minh Complex: Completed in 1975 the complex contains Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt house residence, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh museum. Next stop is a visit to the Temple of Literature
1200h: A delicious set menu lunch will be provided for you in a local restaurant.
1300h: Your tour recommences with a visit to the Museum of Ethnology which is widely acknowledged as the best in Vietnam and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples

Then it is on to the Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake .
The Old Quarter, also known as the 36 streets, is a bustling narrow street home to literally thousands of small businesses and street vendors, selling a wide variety of goods.
Originally each of the street names’ were related to the products being sold there. You can walk from Fish Street to Tin Street to Bamboo Street and you will enjoy exploring the area while riding in a traditional cyclo.
1730h: Back to your hotel where you will have free time before checking out to have dinner and a short rest. 2000h: Our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Hanoi train station. 2100h: Train departure and sleep the night in a shared 4 berth, soft Sleeper cabin on board the train. Travel time approx 9 hrs.
Day 9: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B/L/D)
Arrive at Lao Cai railway station at 0600h where our guide and driver pick you up for the township of Sapa which takes approx one hour.
0800h: After breakfast, a morning shower and leaving your main luggage at the hotel, we will walk from Sapa towards Muong Hoa valley. Here you will discover the wonderful scenery of the Hoang Lien mountain range and meet people of the Black H’mong tribes before Trekking through terraced rice paddies and minority villages along the Muong Hoa River. You then cross the suspension bridge towards the Zay village, arriving at Ta Van, where we have dinner cooked on a wood fire and enjoy the hospitality of a local Zay family. Overnight in Home stay accommodation.
Day 10: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sa pa (B/L) – Overnight on train.
Enjoy views of the magnificent landscape with your sunrise coffee and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
Once we have said our goodoves we will set off to trek through
Once we have said our goodbyes, we will set off to trek through bamboo forests towards Giang Ta Chai waterfall, cross over a rattan suspension bridge and enter Giang Ta Chai village which is inhabited by the Red Zao minorities.
Here we will experience daily life before crossing over the Muong Hoa River and walking up the mountain to visit Supan village, the home of the H’mong people. We then drive back to Sapa before having a break and dinner before transferring to your train for overnight train to Hanoi.
Day 11: Hanoi – Da Nang (B, D)
Pick up on the train and drive to the hotel to refresh and have breakfast and have a leisurely morning in Hanoi..
Enjoy a relaxing day in Hanoi
about 7 pm, our vehicle transfers you to the Hanoi airport for flying to Da Nang.
Our team in Da Nang will pick you up on arrival and check into the hotel. Refresh and have dinner. Stay overnight in Hoi An.
Day 12: Hoi An (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast at the hotel, our team will pick you up for walking tour in Hoi An Old Town with visits to:
– Japanese Bridge – built in the 1400’s to link the Japanese and Chinese sectors of town,
– Tan Ky House – 200 years old Japanese House decorated with in lays of pearl shell, and time permitting
– The Museum of Folk culture – notable for its plaster statues of Vietnamese peasants,
– Silk factory and handicraft workshop:
- 11h00 – A short Backstreets and Village excursion traveling in air-conditioned vehicle comfort through quiet villages, visiting many of the main places of interest in the countryside around Hoi An including Traditional local Temple, Tra Que Village, An Bang Beach and Coconut Village.
- 12h30 – Set menu Lunch at local restaurant on the Thu Bon River including 2 drinks / person (beer or soft drink).
- 14h00: you will enjoy a river cruise along the Thu Bon traveling through the water-coconut and past a local fishing village and traditional wood shop before arriving back to Hoi An.
- 15h30: Journey returning to Da Nang with a visit at Marble Mountain en-route.
Day 13: Hoi An – Ba Na Hill and Surrounds (Breakfast, Lunch)
About 6:30AM or any starting time is suitable for you, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An and take you to Ba Na hills. We advise an early start to beat the crowds. We try to be there for the first cable car of the morning.
- Spend your time on the most modern Cable Car in Southeast Asia, then
- Take the Climbing Train to visit the top of mountains. Explore le Jardin D’Amour (consists of gardens), Debay Wine Cellar & Linh Ung Pagoda
- Enjoy walking on the Golden Bridge which is nestled in the forested hills of two giant concrete hands that emerge from the trees, holding up a glimmering golden bridge crowded with gleeful visitors taking selfies.
- Continue the second Cable Car to visit the French Village, where you will enjoy

- Enjoy seeing the Art’s statue Campanile, Nine Floor Goddess Shrine, Tombstone Temple, Linh Phong Monastery, Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple &Tru Vu Tea Shop.

After your fun and a lovely buffet lunch at Ba Na Hills, we will then take you to the amazing My Son World Heritage area.
You will see the amazing tower and temple complex and we will take time to appreciate the skill and craftsmanship of those that constructed and reconstructed the temple and tower complex over nine centuries. Your knowledgeable guide will explain the spiritual connection between the site and the ChampaKingdom .
During your time here, you will:
- Visit UNESCO World Heritage site, learn about the history of the site with your knowledgeable tour guides
- Explore all temples built and rebuilt from 4th century to 13rd century
- Marvel at the Hindu remains of tower-temples decorated in bas-relief.
- Find out how the Cham people built the temples without using mortar
- Learn about the Champa Kingdom and their relationship to the temples at My Son.
- Enjoy the beautiful views of valley surrounding by jungles
After the visit to My Son, we will return you to your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An. The tour finishes at approximately 5pm.
