Vietnam Tour Package: Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho – Ha Noi – Halong Bay – Sapa – Perfume pagoda – Da Nang – Hue – Hoi An – Saigon.

Day 1: Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (lunch, and dinner)

Saigon travel guide and driver will pick you up at 7:30 am at your hotel within district 1, Ho Chi Minh City and drive 1 and a half up to 2 hours through rice fields and farm land to Mekong Delta of My Tho pier. On arrival in My Tho, you will take a boat ride a along the Mighty Mekong River to see daily life of locals along the River as well as on these islands of Dragon, Turtle, and Phoenix. You will have a chance to visit local activities of fish-breading floating houses, see process of making coconut candy from start to finish, and sample different types of hot coconut candies with flavour of chocolate, panda leave, peanut, and plain ones. You will then boat to Ben Tre island to learn how locals keep bee for honey, and have break with honey tea. 

At noon, you will have lunch break with local specialties, and laze on hammock under the shady trees. After lunch break, you will have a rowing boat ride along the water palm tree to experience real local life along the waterways, and pay a visit to Mr Ba for local music performance while have fruits. Boat back to the pier, and have a vehicle drive to Can Tho for 2 hours. You will check in into the hotel in Can Tho City center, have dinner and walk along Ninh Kieu wharf to experience Can Tho at night, visit Can Tho night market. Stay the night in Can Tho.

Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Ha Noi (breakfast, and lunch)

After breakfast, you will take a boat ride along The Mighty Mekong River up to the Cai Rang floating market to experience real River Life of locals in the region to observe the locals buying, selling, bargaining and exchanging goods among their boats. Why not practice your bargaining skills here! Experience the tranquility of life in rural areas, the Monkey bridge (if tide permit) and rice noodle making. Boat back to hotel, check out, free at your leisure until transfer to the airport for flying to Ha Noi.

Saigontravel team in Ha Noi will pick you up on arrival and transfer to the hotel in Ha Noi. Check in and stay overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B, L )

After having breakfast at the hotel, Saigon.travel guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel at 8h30 am for the city discovery. 

You will discover down town of the Ho Chi Minh city – Saigon with stops at the Post Office in colonial-style and the Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 and being the major seat of the Catholic religion at present in Vietnam, Thien Hau pagoda, War remnant museum, a lacquer workshop (on request). Have lunch break at the local restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will discover Jade Emperor pagoda, china town with bustling Binh Tay market, Vinh Nghiem pagoda.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Cao Dai Temple – Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L,D )

Vietnam travel guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and drive for Tay Ninh, home to Cao Dai religion. you will  discovering this beautiful architectural work and the eclectic mixture of Cao Dai philosophy. After having lunch break at the local restaurant, we will drive 1,5 hour to the tunnels of Cu Chi which features a living museum for Vietnam War. The formation of the tunnels with various functions provides you the real sense of creation that exists only in Vietnam. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and stay overnight.

Day 5: Hanoi – overnight Halong bay cruise (Breakfast, Lunch, dinner)

Am:   We pick you up from your hotel at around 8h15 for 3.5 hour driving North East; the bus ride will take you over the Red River and through the country side of our second biggest delta to reach Halong Bay.

You would be first dropped off at Tuan Chau International Marina – harbor of Halong’s biggest island. From which you will be tendered to our Pelican Cruise/ Royal Palace Cruise, welcome drinks would be served for your refreshment while we hand over your cabin’s key. 

Pm:    When you are putting all of your stuffs into your cabin, our boat starts gliding out to the centre of the World Heritage Site. Your lunch, at the boat’s restaurant, is would be served with fresh local seafood, but vegetable menu is always available at your request.

          From the marina area, our cruiser passes by Dog Head and Swan Islands, Ba Hang Floating villages (with floating houses), Incense Burner then Thumb Islands before reaching Surprising (Sung Sot) Cave.

          At around 15h00, our boat will anchored for a short tender ride from the middle of the bay to an island for your visit to famous Sung Sot Cave. The cave visiting will take you about 1 hour (walking inside the limestone cave), then we tender you to visit and swim on Titop Island, which is not far from the cave. Here you can still challenge yourself by climbing up to the top, for a panoramic view, before heading back to swim on its sandy beach.

As the sun sets over the bay, we head back to our cruise and relax. Coffee, tea and fruits will be available on the sundeck or you can order your favorite drink from our bar.

Pelican Cruise/ Royal Palace Cruise keeps cruising to Coconut anchorage area, which is away from the crowded centre – where most other boats stay, for our overnight escape.

Dinner would be served with typically local seafood, you are then free to either drink or experience squid fishing before heading to your bed.

 Day 6: Halong bay Cruise – Ha Noi – Sapa (breakfast, lunch)

 Am:   You would love to rise a bit early for a breath taking and practicing Tai Chi on sundeck, the stunning vista of the serene bay is always best experience of staying overnight on boat. We serve you buffet breakfast from 7h30, then we have time to gear up for one hour kayaking around Luom Bo area (provincial border between Quang Ninh province and Cat Ba National Park of Hai Phong).

     Our guide will show you some basic safety guidelines and techniques to paddle before helping you to sit on our brand new sit-on-top kayaks. Kayaking area is so quite that you will feel like the bay is remaining untouched, you will see neither other boat nor other kayakers beyond your group and our Pelican Cruise/ Royal Palace Cruise.

On the cruising way back, we cruise on a different way so that you can see new areas and viewing islands from a different side. At around 10h00, we arrange a cooking demonstration on boat to show you how to make real Vietnamese spring rolls, just before lunch time: you will learn recipes and techniques that go into the most popular dish of the Vietnamese food.

Lunch would be served on boat when you are close to the harbor. You say goodbye to Pelican Cruise/ Royal Palace Cruise at around 12h00, we tender you back to the harbor.

Pm:    Our bus is already waiting for you at the marina to take you back to Hanoi, we leave Halong Bay and Tuan Chau Island around 12h30.

Trip ends at your hotel around 16h30.

Tip:    For your own convenience during 2 day trip, please kindly leave your big suitcases at your hotel. Your receptionist would be delighted to keep your stuffs in their storage until you come back next day.

 After dinner on your account, we will drive you to the railway station to transfer to Sapa. Stay overnight on train.

Day 7: Lao Cai railway station – Sapa – Cat Cat. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

You will arrive at the Lao Cai Station between 5-7:30 AM. There you will meet our bus guide and transfer to Sapa town. After having breakfast and a shower, you will start the half-day walk to Cat Cat village occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. You will experience the tribal way of life while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat. After the walk, you will be back to the Hotel at around noon to check-in and be on time for lunch (11AM-2PM) in the hotel restaurant. For the rest of the afternoon, you will be free to explore Sapa town on your own. Dinner will be in the hotel restaurant from 4-8 PM. You will spend the night in the Hotel.

Day 8: Sapa – Lao Cai/Ta Van (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

After having breakfast and a shower, you will check out of your room at the hotel and leave your luggage in the luggage storage room to prepare for your trek. You will only need to bring a change of clothing, trekking gear and toiletries for your stay at the village homestay. At around 9 AM you will begin your 10 km trek on small trails down the Muong Hoa Valley towards the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai. The Muong Hoa Valley contains some of the most beautiful views of rice paddy fields in Asia. After having lunch along the Muong Hoa river in Lao Chai, you will continue along the bottom of the valley to get to the Dzay tribe village of Ta Van to experience their way of life while staying in a local family’s cottage.

Day 9: Ta Van – Dzang Ta Chai – Sapa — Lao Cai (Breakfast, lunch)
After having breakfast in the village home stay, you will begin your trek to Dzang Ta Chai of the Red Dzao tribe. You can experience the difference between the way of life of the different tribes people. You will have lunch in the village before you continue your trek through the amazing scenery and to the beautiful waterfall. At around 1PM you will be picked up from the main road to take a ride back to the Hotel in Sapa. Along the way you may stop to take photos of the fabulous valley en-route to Sapa. When you arrive in Sapa, you will have enough time to freshen up with a shower and have dinner in the Restaurant before catching the bus back to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi. Overnight stay on train.

Day 10:  Hanoi Arrival – Perfume pagoda (lunch)
You will arrive in Hanoi between 5-6:30 AM at the Tran Quy Cap train station.

07h30: pick up from your hotel, depart 2-hour road trip (75 km). You will go along the beautiful road which has one side of a river and one side of the green field.

09h00: arrive the Yen stream, get on a small boat, glide along scenic waterway to come to visit Den Trinh Ngu Nhac temple. After that, continue a boat trip to the mountain path, trek up mountain to come to visit Huong Tich Main cave – the huge cave on the mountain and visit a complex of pagodas & temples.

12h00: have lunch in the restaurant.

PM: After lunch, downhill, visit Thien Tru pagoda which has a special architectures of 15th century.

14h00: boat trip back Duc wharf. Bus ride back to Hanoi,

18h00: Drop you at your hotel, end your day trip.

Day 11: Hanoi City Tour

0800h – Guide will meet you at your hotel & you will depart to visit; Ho Chi Minh Complex: Completed in 1975 the complex contains Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his former stilt house residence, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh museum.

Next stop is a visit to the Temple of Literature

1200h – A delicious set menu lunch will be provided for you in a local restaurant.

1300h – Your tour recommences with a visit to the Museum of Ethnology which is widely acknowledged as the best in Vietnam and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples.

Then it is on to the Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake

The Old Quarter, also known as the 36 streets, is a bustling area of narrow streets home to literally thousands of small businesses and street vendors, selling a wide variety of goods. Originally each of the 36 streets names’ were related to the products being sold there. Hence you can walk from Fish Street to Tin Street to Bamboo Street and you will enjoy exploring the area while riding in a traditional cyclo.

1730h – Back to your hotel where you will have free time to have dinner and overnight stay in Hanoi

Day 12: Hanoi – Da Nang (Breakfast, lunch)

After having breakfast at hotel, you will be picked up and transferred to Ha Noi airport for flight at 6h30 am. On arrival in Da Nang, tour guide and driver will pick you up and drive to Hue with stop en-route for photos. Arrive Hue, check in. In the afternoon, you will have half day city tour. Stay overnight in Hue.

Day 13: Hue – Hoi An (Breakfast, lunch)

After having breakfast at hotel, tour guide and driver will pick you up and drive to Hoi An through the Hai Van Pass with stop for photos at picturesque landscape at Lang Co beach, and Hai Van pass. If time permit, you may visit Cham museum at Da Nang. We will then go for Hoi An. Check in on arrival

Day 14: Hoi An (Breakfast, Lunch)

Today our visit in Hoi An: your walking tour in Hoi An Old Town with visits to:

– Japanese Bridge – built in the 1400’s to link the Japanese and Chinese sectors of town,

– Tan Ky House – 200 years old Japanese House decorated with in lays of pearl shell, and time permitting

– The Museum of Folk culture – notable for its plaster statues of Vietnamese peasants,

– Silk factory and handicraft workshop:

  • 11h00 – A short Backstreets and Village excursion traveling in air-conditioned vehicle comfort through quiet villages, visiting many of the main places of interest in the country side around Hoi An including of Traditional local Temple, Tra Que Village, An Bang Beach and Coconut Village.
  • 12h30 – Set menu Lunch at local restaurant on the Thu Bon River including 2 drinks / person (beer or soft drink).
  • 14h00: you will enjoy a river cruise along the Thu Bon traveling through the water-coconut and past a local fishing village and traditional wood shop before arriving back to Hoi An.
  • 15h30: Journey returning to Da Nang with visit at Marble Mountain en-route.

Day 15:  Hoi An – Ba Na Hill and Surrounds (Breakfast, Lunch)

About 6:30AM or any starting time is suitable for you, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An and take you to Ba Na hills.  We advise an early start to beat the crowds. We try and be there for the first cable car of the morning.

  • Spend your time on the most modern Cable Car in Southeast Asia, then
  • Take the Climbing Train to visit the top of mountains. Explore le Jardin D’Amour (consists of gardens), Debay Wine Cellar & Linh Ung Pagoda
  • Enjoy walking on the Golden Bridge which is nestled in the forested hills of two giant concrete hands that emerge from the trees, holding up a glimmering golden bridge crowded with gleeful visitors taking selfies.
  • Continue the second Cable Car to visit the French Village, where you will enjoy

You will see the amazing tower and temple complex and we will take time to appreciate the skill and craftsmanship of those that constructed and reconstructed the temple and tower complex over nine centuries. Your knowledgeable guide will explain the spiritual connection between the site and the ChampaKingdom .

During your time here, you will:

  • Visit UNESCO World Heritage site, learning about the history of the site with your knowledgeable tour guides
  • Explore all temples built and rebuilt from 4th century to 13rd century
  • Marvel at the Hindu remains of tower-temples decorated in bas-relief.
  • Find out how the Cham people built the temples without using mortar
